I’m looking to get new tires and make the car feel more stable. I want less sidewall flex and better traction in the rain. It seems like I always end up driving over everything on the road, so I need something that will keep me confident in case I need to avoid something or even head to a local track for some fun. What are you guys running? Any suggestions for tires that give you a good grip and stability

Just stay away from Pirellis, they perform similarly to Michelin or Continental, but the sidewalls are thin and they don’t last as long as the others. I work as a tire tech and would advise against them.
Michelin all the way, Pilot Sports are awesome.

That’s great to hear! Are they asymmetrical or directional?

I’m not sure, but they stick to the road really well. I usually replace the front tires and keep the rears for longer.
Maybe it’s time to go premium? You know, something like Continental, Pirelli, or Michelin?
What tires are you using right now?
I’ve got 235/45/17s on mine.

Do you have a picture of what they look like?
I’m running Michelin CrossClimate 2s. I live in the south with no snow but plenty of rain. They handle great in both dry and wet conditions. I have 250/50R17s on my car. I don’t track it, but they’re fantastic for everyday driving.
@Vail
Tracking is something I plan to try in the future. I live in the south as well, so no snow but a lot of rain and a lot of crazy drivers.
The Hankook Ventus V2 Concept tires came on my car.

They’re decent tires. We’ve been happy with them. They’re not the best, but they’re definitely not bad. Depending on how long the tread lasts, you won’t see a huge increase in grip with more expensive tires.
