Here’s my 2008 Ford Focus still running like a champ with 340,000 miles on it.
Congrats on keeping it running that long! I’ve got a 2010 with only 160k on it.

My 2013 Transit Connect, which is basically a first-gen Focus under the hood, just hit 200,000 miles.
The powertrain on these was super reliable, but around here, they don’t last because the rocker panels always rust out.

This one’s from New York and still no rust. Surprising, right?
@Remington
That’s amazing! Every one of these I’ve seen in NY looks like it’s been soaked in saltwater for years.
I bet it’s gone through at least two sets of motor mounts by now. Those cars were tough as nails, though.

Actually, just one. The motor mounts are shot again now, though. I have replacements but haven’t had the time to install them yet.
@Remington
Yeah, those and the vacuum lines were the main weak spots on these cars.

Exactly. Still, this little car has outlived all my friends’ ‘better’ and ‘more reliable’ cars.
I’ve got a 2005 Focus with 351,000 miles on it. I call it Trusty Rusty.
Congrats on hitting that milestone!
That’s from the good generation of the Focus. They don’t make them like that anymore.
Are you from Long Island by any chance?
What engine does it have? The 2.0 Duratec?

Yep, it’s the 2.0 Duratec.
Nice! My 2008 just hit 200,000 miles yesterday. Hoping to double that before I let it go.
This deserves a reaction gif!
