So recently, I just got a Ford Focus as my first car, and I’m really disappointed. I bought it in such bad condition that it’s unbelievable. My front wheels make a noise whenever I drive over small potholes or train tracks. Does anyone have tips on how to take care of this car?
Also, I need help with my Blaupunkt Travelpilot EX radio. I can’t figure out how to use the Bluetooth feature and can’t unlock it. Is there a 4-digit code that works for all these radios?
I have a car that’s 10 years old and I’ve driven 143,000 km. If you’re interested in anything, let me know. I know every detail of it. The car has a total of 264,000 kilometers.
Does the EX connect to your phone for calls? I have a 2010 wagon with a Travelpilot FX that came with built-in Bluetooth for phone calls but not for music streaming. I replaced the Bluetooth module behind the glove box with one from a newer Ford Galaxy, which lets me stream music. I also used a modified OBD2 connector and the ElmConfig program to update the Travelpilot FX to support Bluetooth music streaming. It wasn’t too difficult, and now Spotify works perfectly. It’s a great upgrade. But I’m not sure if the EX supports Bluetooth for phone calls on its own. If it does, you might have some options.
I think the radio might be able to make phone calls since it has a small microphone on the ceiling. Can you help me set it up so I can stream music from my phone?
thk you
