I have a 2012 ford focus (named a ford fuck us lol) that doesn’t go into reverse and shifts erratic. Got 173.000 miles, is it worth repairing? Have you repairing yours, did the repair last?

TCM recall. Just dash to a dealership, they’ll repair it for free.

could consider that bt I believe its out of warranty and recall limits as of now.

it’s wort the try anyway, it’s a well known and documented problem. 100% Ford is at fault here.

@Marland there’s an artilce artile i came across for lawsuit involving 2018 Ford Fiesta and Ford Focus models. The lawsuit addresses ongoing issues with the PowerShift dual-clutch transmissions in these vehicles.

TCM is often covered with no mileage or time limits until June 30, 2025. Though, the problem might not be with the TCM, depending on the error codes. consider getting the codes read, and I can help figure out the issue.
