I want to set the daytime running lights to be just the LEDs. Does anyone know if this is possible with Forscan?

I have a 2012 MK3, and from what I remember, there are different options for DRL under the BCM in easy mode.

Can you enable DRL with the stock lights? I’ve got a 2012 SE.

From what I recall, you can switch between 4 or 5 different DRL modes under BCM. I’m in Europe, though, so if you’re in the US, the module layouts might be different between regions.

First, download the configuration file (Forscan will tell you the name when you connect for the first time). Then go into the BCM system and look for the daylight option. If I remember right, pick option 5: dedicated daytime running lights in position 0 and POS.

//Edit: Don’t freak out if your car looks like it’s losing power or all the lights flash—that’s normal.
