Yeah, shifts aren’t as fast as a regular auto – there’s a bit of a delay, so don’t expect instant acceleration. It’s an automated manual, not a full automatic.

If you’re open to other options, maybe consider a 2015-2021 WRX, Infiniti Q50, Mazda3/Mazda6, Lexus ES330, or a Honda or Toyota model. They’re all solid alternatives.

Also, maybe look at the Honda Accord 2.0T, and remember Lexus is made by Toyota, so you might find what you’re looking for there. Good luck!
