Those aren’t gears, they’re revolutions per minute (RPM). That number shows how hard your engine is working, based on how much gas you give it. It’s not directly tied to gears, but being in lower gears at higher speeds can cause higher RPMs.
@Finch
Thanks. I was just wondering if it’s normal for my RPMs to stay between 2 and 3, even when I hit 80 mph. I’m curious because I don’t remember how it behaved before Ford replaced my TCM.

It depends on how much gas you’re giving. If it stays between those RPMs even when you floor it, that could be a problem. But if you’re accelerating lightly, it could be normal.
@Finch
When I floor it, it jumps to 3 or 4, makes a good sound, then drops back to between 2 and 3.

That doesn’t sound normal. It might be skipping a gear entirely. I’d take it back to the shop ASAP.
Yeah, it’s common for pictures taken while driving to be blurry. Stop taking pictures while you’re behind the wheel.
I don’t really get what you’re asking. Put your phone down while driving. Park and then clarify your question.
Seriously, don’t mess with your phone while driving. It’s not worth it.
What’s the problem, car go vroom?
Your RPMs look normal. As for BG services, they’re decent, but I don’t bother with them. Just use good-quality fuel and you’ll be fine.

What fuel should I use? I heard 91 octane is recommended in summer, but what about winter?
@Zephyr
If your engine isn’t high-compression, turbo, or supercharged, 87 octane is fine. Higher octane doesn’t give more power or make the fuel cleaner. Stick to chain gas stations and avoid independent ones. I also add fuel injector cleaner every oil change.
Sounds like the Ford Powershift transmission might be acting up. Could be the shift actuators (A and B). Same thing happened to mine. Dealer wanted $2,500 to fix it, but I replaced them myself for $60.
Just add some Seafoam to your tank twice a year. Most of those services are just adding an additive anyway. Ask what their service actually includes. I bet it’s something you can easily do yourself.

They said it’s a full service with a machine like in YouTube videos to clean the whole system.
If you’re asking whether 3k RPM at 80 mph is normal… yeah, that’s just how cars work.
It’s a 2018 Titanium model.
