Been using this all day, and it’s brilliant! Thanks again for the recommendation!
Glad it’s working well for you! I’ve had mine for years and never looked back after trying several others.

I use a holder that clips around the rearview mirror, and it’s great!
I’d suggest upgrading to Sync 3 and using Android Auto or CarPlay instead. Just an alternative idea!
If you don’t mind a magnet on the back of your phone, check out Steelie mounts. They’re super strong! You stick a metal ball on the dash and a magnet on the phone, and it won’t budge.

Here’s the one I use: Nite Ize Steelie Original Dash Kit.
And this is a clip option if you prefer: Steelie FreeMount Bracket.
I like the CD player mount. Here’s the one I got: APPS2Car CD Slot Mount.

Why not upgrade to Sync 3 and leave the phone down altogether?

You’ll need to replace the screen, Sync unit, and get an adapter cable. Should cost about £300-£500.
@Val
Thanks! A bit pricey for me right now, but I plan to keep the car for a long time, so I’ll keep it in mind for the future!
I would do anything to get a 6-speed right-hand drive Focus right now.

What does that even mean? I’m so clueless about cars.

I’m in the US where we drive left-hand drive vehicles, and manual cars are becoming super rare here. I’d love to have one like yours!
@Corbin
Oh, got it! I’m new to this too, only my second car. But I love it! It’s actually fun to drive.

What year is it? I think the US stopped making the Focus after 2018. Is this your first manual?
@Corbin
It’s a 2016. Nope, a lot of people here still learn to drive manuals, though automatics are getting more popular.
Just put your phone on the TCM
