Replacing Engine Mounts (2005 model)

I have a question that might seem silly, tbh, I think the mounts in my car need to be replaced. The car shakes a bit, especially in lower gears, and the shaking stops when I press the clutch. I’m considering just buying the mounts and paying someone to install them. Do I need to replace all of them (driver, passenger, front, and rear), or just some?

I just replaced the passenger side mount by the coolant reservoir on my 2005 car, and it drives like new now. It only took about 15 minutes! You just need a jack and a few sockets and extensions.

Legend, thank you! Did you have the same vibration type issue?

Yeah, it’s a very common problem with these cars. Was worse that i couldn’t see out of the car’s mirrors when it was idling from a cold start.
Try looking up a YouTube video on how to replace that passenger mount it’s pretty so easy!

Remember If you’re not sure, it’s better to ask a mechanic to check the mounts. You can buy the parts yourself to save money, but it’s good to have an expert confirm which ones need replacing.

You don’t always need to replace all of them. If only one or two mounts are causing the problem, you can just replace those.

If ur car mainly shakes in lower gears, it could be one or two specific mounts. like the passenger and front mounts are usually the ones that wear out faster, so consider replacing those first before anything else.
