What tires are best for Focus owners?

I’m looking to buy new tires for my Focus. What’s everyone here running?

Continental DSW06s have been solid for me.

On my second set of those, Continental Xtreme Contacts or whatever they’re called now. Love them.

Same here! On my second set. They do get a bit loud as they wear down, though. Before this, I had some cheap Milestar tires… never again.

Michelin CrossClimate 2… amazing in rain and snow. Perfect all-season option.

Been eyeing those. Glad to hear positive feedback. My Focus came with Bridgestone DriveGuards, and I’m really not a fan. They’re noisy, super stiff (thanks to being run-flats), and I can’t wait to switch them out.

Here’s what NOT to get: PowerTrac CityMarch tires. Came with my Focus, and they’re awful. In the rain, it feels like the car is floating. Switched to General Altimax Arctic for winter, and the difference is night and day.

I run Bridgestone Potenzas.

I’ve heard good things! Got any pics of your setup?

Switched out my rims for more options, now running 235/18s.

Couldn’t agree more, they’ve never let me down.

Didn’t even know these existed! They sound solid.

I use Bridgestone Blizzaks for winter. Total game-changer!

Uniroyal Tiger Paw. Decent enough, nothing special.

I got a budget set from Discount Tire. Think they’re called Radar All-Season. Pretty smooth ride, cost me around $480 including warranty and TPMS.

General Altimax RT43s (or RT45s) all-seasons. Got them on three different family cars, and they handle snow surprisingly well.

I do Pilot Sport 4S in the summer and General Altimax for winter.

I stick with Coopers.
