Anyone got some good ideas for a phone mount? I love my 2013 Ford Focus hatch, but man, the dashboard shape is a bit tricky . What mounts are you guys using and where do you place them?
I use a CD player holder.

Well, I guess my CD collection will have to sit this one out
My girlfriend picked one up from Five Below that attaches to the left vent. Then she got another one with a suction cup for the dash, and it’s held up great. Definitely go for a suction mount, though. Vent ones are annoying because they block airflow, and in winter, the heat can mess with your phone.
I jammed a pop socket mount into the lower right corner of the driver’s vent, and it holds pretty well. My CD player is broken, though, so that would’ve been another option for me.

Just got mine fixed today
First off, where did you get that Baby Yoda? Second, I use a mount from Amazon that clips onto the passenger vent. You just drop your phone in, and it grabs it. The clip grabs onto the plastic behind the vent, and you tighten it with a knob.
@Sterling
It’s a Funko bobblehead I picked up at a local computer shop years ago.
I use a VICSEED suction cup mount, and I’ve placed it just to the left of my Baby Yoda. Works great!
I went with a CD holder mount too.
Same dash here, and I had issues finding one at first. Ended up with the MOKPR wireless charger/phone mount. Got it on Amazon, and it clips securely onto the vent. No problems so far.
I got a Spigen OneTap 3. It blocks the radio display, so no time or volume display, but it’s worth it!
Check this out, I’ve been using this dashboard clip mount for years:
@Parker
This looks awesome, first of its kind I’ve seen! Does it stay in place well?

Yeah, works great. It only pops off if I hit a big pothole, but other than that, no issues.
I live in the south, so vent clips weren’t an option. I found a suction cup mount that sticks to the dash. It’s fallen off a couple of times on super hot days (100+ degrees), but overall, it works fine. There’s some rattling, but honestly, the whole car rattles anyway lol.
Here’s the one I use:
I’ve had it since 2020. It’s got a CD slot mount and a vent clip. Both work well, but they do loosen up over time. Still, it’s been solid overall.
Found one on Amazon that has both a sticky pad and a suction cup for the dash. Works like a charm!
I have a 2012 model, and I find the vent mounts work the best for me.
