Just got myself a 2015 Focus SE…what should I do with it?

You should remove that dark tint on your headlights. It’s not safe, and it messes up visibility.

If you’re taking them off, I’ll take them off your hands :call_me_hand:

Honestly, just let it run its course. If it’s an automatic, save up for your next car instead of sinking money into mods.

The only changes I made to mine were a fin antenna and swapping out the wheel nuts. The stock ones are awful. Great car though, enjoy it!

Where’d you get your antenna? Been thinking of changing mine too.

@Tate
Got it from AliExpress, just search for ‘fin antenna.’ Super cheap. I spray-painted it to match the car, added a clear coat, and stuck it on with 3M adhesive. The FM radio reception isn’t great anymore, but I just stream music from my phone anyway. If that’s fine with you, it’s a solid choice.

@Zion
Thanks for the info!

The stock wheel nuts are terrible. Mine got swollen, and I had to take them to a shop, which charged me $40 just to get them off. I also replaced them with black lugs, and they’ve been great since. Oh, and I got my fin antenna from Amazon—it’s a good option too.

@Jae
I had the same problem! The shop wanted €50 to remove them, so I just used an old 19mm socket and a hammer. Worked like a charm!

You should replace your headlights with ones that have dark housings. They’ll look way better and won’t mess with the light output like the tint does.

Keep it stock. If you’re into modding, you should look into getting an ST instead.

Why do you say that?

It’s an economy car, not built for serious mods. Upgrading the stereo or swapping wheels is fine, but anything beyond that is just throwing money away.

@Zach
I don’t agree. It depends on what you want to do with the car. STs are getting harder to find in good condition, and you can still do plenty of mods to a non-ST if you know what you’re going for.

@Aeron
Fair point. What kind of mods are you thinking about?

Good luck with your new car!

Why would anyone put black covers on their headlights? It’s dangerous and doesn’t even look good.

Does anyone know the color code for this? I’d love to wrap mine in this shade. By the way, before anyone says not to mod it, I’m not in the US. These cars hold their value here, and fixing or swapping transmissions is way cheaper.
