That’s gonna be me soon. Transmission just failed on my 2013 Focus. Toyota, save me!
Most Toyotas will easily last 20+ years with basic maintenance.

I’ve been driving a rental and for the first time, I feel stress-free driving!

Tell that to all the lawsuits Toyota has had over engines and transmissions recently.
Toyota hybrids are no joke. Sport mode on the Corolla can really surprise you, and then you get 50+ mpg on long trips. Win-win.
Let’s be real, if you’re driving a Focus, it’s because it was way cheaper than a Corolla or Civic, and you’re just hoping it lasts until you can save for a better car.
Did the same trade this year. My 2017 Focus needed new clutch motors at 112k miles. Got a 2024 Corolla and couldn’t be happier. Much quieter ride too.

If your old Focus is noisy, try replacing the engine mounts and front sway bar links. Cheap fix for under $150.
Swapped my 2013 Focus for a RAV4 two years ago. I’ll only own Toyotas now. Congrats on your new ride!

Love the RAV4. Might be my next car when kids come into the picture, but for now, the Corolla fits my life.
