Where is the cabin air filter located?

Do you mean cabin filter or air filter?

The cabin filter is usually inside the car. In my 2012, it’s under the glovebox on the passenger side, near the center console.

The air filter is in a box on the right side of the car (it has a big intake tube connected to it).

Cars from 2005 to 2007 didn’t come with a cabin air filter from the factory…

For 2005-2007 models, it’s random whether or not a cabin filter was installed. Most of them just had a mesh screen instead.

In some cars, it’s behind the passenger glove box or through a trap door in the back of the glove box. Depending on the car’s trim, the cabin filter may not be available.

Looks like you don’t have one, man.

My 2006 ZX3 didn’t have one from the factory.

It’s under the passenger side glove compartment, near the center console.

Check the top firewall on the passenger side from the engine bay.

Weirdly, it’s outside.

Oops, I was wrong!

The 2005-2011 Ford Focus didn’t come with a cabin air filter. The 2005-2007 models also didn’t have a replaceable air filter.

I have a 2007 SES ZX3. Whenever I mention I have a lifetime air filter box, people think I’m making it up.

But I was replacing the cabin air filter in my 2008 Ford Focus MK2FL…

The cabin air filter is inside the cabin.

The air filter is under the hood.
