That’s a base model if I’ve ever seen one. No fog lights, basic radio, non-foldable mirrors. It’s crazy they’re charging so much.
But that cream interior is nice! Rare to see cars without black door panels these days.

Crazy! I bought mine for $9,000 six years ago.

Same! Paid $12,000 years ago. Did it just not depreciate?
You could have made triple that on Facebook Marketplace.
In 2021, I saw my 2014 Focus S with 87k miles listed for almost $10k. Talked them down to $5k cash. Thought I got a good deal until the transmission problems started popping up.

How does that even happen?
You could have fixed it yourself and sold it. Nobody forced you to take their trade-in offer. They’re just doing what every used dealer does and making a profit.

Not mad at the dealership. Just annoyed at KBB for giving me a lowball value.
@Hartley
You should have checked local prices instead of relying on KBB.
I’ve got a 2015 Focus with a 6-speed manual and 1.0L Ecoboost. Bought it new and have 65k miles, mostly highway. Honestly, I love it, even though I bought it thinking it’d just be an ‘appliance’ car.
Wow.
